Working around the world has made me a bonafide travel addict. It has been such a valuable learning resource. I hope to share my experiences and inspire others to explore God’s creation and learn from different cultures.

Focused On Improving

I’ve been fortunate to visit over 70 countries, living for periods of time in China, Ireland, Cyprus, Brazil, and Guatemala. Some of the best moments are capturing greatness when situations don’t appear to offer much. My hope is to be a light to the world and always use free time with my wife traveling and absorbing all the world has to offer.

Opportunities in Basketball

After finishing up school, I trained in Nicosia followed by a move to Belfast for work with a non-profit organization called PeacePlayers International. During those two years I played for Lisburn Star, a basketball club that competed around all of Ireland. When time permitted, I conquered a good portion of Europe.

After five years spent completing my MBA and working in higher education, the urge to get abroad led me to Brazil for two incredible months during the 2014 World Cup. From there I secured a new coaching opportunity in China in a few different capacities with the NBA. The bulk of our work was implementing grassroots programs in conjunction with Yao Ming in both Beijing and Shanghai. But we also did several other camps, clinics, and events around the country to continue improving the game. In my free time, I maximized the opportunity to explore the rest of Asia.

Aspirations for The Future
